Overview
Totem signage and monolith signs are a highly effective wayfinding solution. Due to their size and visibility, visitors can easily identify their location and navigate their way effectively; creating maximum visual impact for your brand and organisation. The size, shape and design possibilities are endless with totem and monolith signage and, as well as providing a static solution for both indoor and outdoor spaces, such as car parks and business premises, they can also incorporate lighting, digital display, interactive and touchscreen technology – helping you to guide, engage and inform your customers and visitors effectively.

Totems and vehicle signageWe worked with Yorkshire’s Flamingo Land theme park and resort, to design and develop a successful wayfinding strategy and produce a suite of signage solutions to help guide visitors more effectively around the resort. We designed, produced and installed a range of bespoke totem signage using a unique wood-effect powder coated base with blue and navy wayfinding information, as well as sourcing locally produced stone for the monoliths, which was carved and mounted with slate discs. Take a look at the case study here.

Totem signage and slat systemsBrooksby Melton College, set over two large campuses, recently underwent an exciting £27.7 million redevelopment. As part of this project, we were invited to design and deliver their wayfinding strategy that promised to align the two sites with a consistent style and brand feel.
We used a variety of signage systems for this project, based on location and the need for updating site locations in the future. Finger posts were used for students and staff walking within the rural grounds, Entrance signage and welcome graphics were often totem signage to be clearly visible on the country roads or in the busy town centres when approaching the venues. Slat Systems were commonly used for the college outdoor wayfinding areas, because they needed to be easily updated and repositioned.

Totem Signage, Slat System, Finger PostsCharnwood Campus approached us to design, produce and install a full suite of outdoor wayfinding and decorative graphics for the entire 70 acre site. Charnwood Campus is a science-focussed business park set within beautiful grounds with lush green plants, ponds, lakes and trees. The large site is home to over 20 buildings and a network of roads and car parking for both staff and visitors.
Monolith signage was used for roadside information and information because it can be easily seen and read. Much of this was already in position, so we designed new vinyl to wrap the metal face.
