Our Wayfinding Signage experience means we can offer a full range of options along with guidance on strategy, design and positioning. For effective wayfinding we follow a policy of ‘Critical Information’ which analyses when and what information is required. It also examines how the information is communicated, such as sentence structure and prioritising relevant information.
We also promote a variety of techniques such as using icons, colour coding and visual continuity to deliver user-friendly wayfinding in a range of locations from business parks to theme parks.
We are happy to discuss our wayfinding processes with you and conduct a full signage audit to evaluate improvement areas or consolidating information to get the most effective results.
Totems are a great wayfinding device. Their size means that visitors and drivers can identify their location easily and use them to navigate their way around. They can be illuminated and can even have screens set within them.
Dating back to the 15th century, finger posts are a common system for both pedestrians and vehicles because of their visibility and simplicity. There are many styles and shapes to suit each design.
Slats directories for internal wayfinding are a traditional favourite and can be easily updated, making them extremely versatile for offices and large buildings. Fully customisable, they can be adapted to suit your brand or project.
An external solution, primarily for vehicle wayfinding, the slat system is another versatile choice that can be customised to create a bespoke solution. Choose the number of slats required and update when necessary.
Durable metal signs with a fabricated 'return' giving it a specified depth, usually 25mm up to 100mm. Tray signs are often the foundation for vinyl, acrylic or illuminated graphics, before being mounted using hidden fixings.
3D letters are metal (or styrofoam for internal use) fabricated letters and shapes with 'returns' that are mounted directly to the wall. They can be illuminated and/or powder-coated to match brand colours.
Acrylics can be printed to directly or have graphics applied using vinyl. They can then be mounted to the surface using metal stand-offs. These are cylindrical fixings that come in a chrome or brushed finish and several sizes.
