We were delighted to have the opportunity to help the next generation of Graphic Designers showcase their creative talents to some of the biggest players in the UK’s advertising industry.
We worked in partnership with the University of Lincoln to develop and create exhibition materials for a recent showcase event, in Shoreditch, London, which was attended by representatives of the UK’s top 20 ad agencies. It gave the students the opportunity to meet with and show their works to designers from the likes of Fallon, BMB, Lucky Generals, VCCP, Analogue Folk, Creative Jungle, Adam & Eve, Publicis, MullenLowe, Wieden & Kennedy and AMVBBDO.
Our Sales Director, David Lister, said: “We’re passionate about supporting the next generation of talent and helping to give young people with aspirations of working in the creative industries a head start. This event was all about getting students in front of some of the most influential names in the industry, to help them make connections, build relationships and gain valuable experience in dealing with people within the industry.
It provided a great learning curve and we we’re delighted to be able to help out by creating the space for them to showcase their talents.”
David Pettitt, the university’s senior lecturer in advertising and graphic design, said: “The event was a huge success and we are extremely grateful for MX Display’s support.
I worked with MX Display while in industry and they always delivered creative solutions to whatever problem I posed them. So, when we decided to really push the final show this year, MX were my obvious first choice.”
