A fabulous new system that harnesses solar power to create self-illuminated signs means that countryside locations, long dark driveways, cycle routes, historical sites, remote carparks and other areas can now benefit from effective, well-lit signage. The possible applications are vast and are perfect for woodland trails, festivals, mountainsides, visitor attractions and remote landmarks.
Using the latest solar cell technology to provide off-grid illumination, this smart new product provides on-demand light whenever there is movement during the low-light hours. A clever sensor detects movement within a range of three metres and remains on for three minutes from the last registered movement. The highly effective internal LEDs operate on a low voltage supply and can provide ample illumination for over 50,000 hours and comes with a 25 year PV Solar Cell guarantee. The fantastic result of this is cost-free illumination using renewable energy, with no carbon emissions and minimal impact on the environment.
The structure itself is manufactured exclusively in the UK and has a three year Parts and Labour guarantee*. It is fabricated from a corrosion resistant aluminium frame which promises to deliver superior weather and vandal resistance. The system offers both a wall and post mounted format plus a monolith option, all with several post profiles and header panel shapes. Monoliths can be single or double sided and are made to measure to suit specific applications.
