Sometimes our teams are faced with pretty steep challenges to overcome, and this recent project for our clients, Prime Property Consultancy and Ingo Interiors, was no exception!

MX were tasked with creating and installing an eye-catching wall graphic solution for the outer walls of an office lift shaft, at the new M60 Office Park development in Salford, Manchester.

The lift shaft walls scaled the height of the entrance reception floor, right up to the ceiling of the second floor of the building. At almost 10 metres tall by 2.6 metres wide, this unique project required a considerable amount of precision, accuracy and skill, to ensure the design of the graphics were meticulously aligned.

FabriGrab was the stand-out solution choice for the space, thanks to its lightweight and customisable properties; the striking blue and gold graphics were printed to two long seamless lengths of fabric, each one scaling the height of the walls (with no visible joins), creating a vibrant and flawless finish.

One of the many benefits of working with FabriGrab is that it offers a fresh alternative to traditional wallpapers and coverings, giving walls a luxury look and feel – whilst disguising any existing wall imperfections.

The MX team had a number of access issues to overcome on site, due to the height and close proximity of the stairs that ran parallel with the lift, which meant hiring in two specialist access lifts to assist with the tricky install.

MX’s Installation Manager, Steve Robinson, said: “At MX Display, every project we undertake is unique, and this one in particular required a huge degree of precision, patience and accuracy – it’s a perfect example of how our highly-skilled installers are some of the very best in the industry.

The end result is stunning and has helped bring an otherwise ordinary office space to life.”
