Overview
Frontlit Specification
If you’re not familIar with fabric wall graphics, then you may be surprised to hear that they can be easily mistaken for wallpaper. And there are lots of reasons why they are even better than some traditional wallpapers.
Our large format printers can take fabric roll width of up to 3.2metres wide, and the rolls can reach a whopping 50metres long, so there’s no need for seams! We print, uninterrupted, for the length of your wall graphic and install it in one long piece. No joins. No splits. No lining up. It is fixed to the wall using a frame system that can be reused for new fabric graphics in the future, so fabric wall graphics are a great way to future proof your brand and the space. There are several types of frames depending on the surface you’re covering. Full walls often require a very thin plastic profile – available in black or white – which positions the fabric a few millimetres away for the wall behind. It’s worth pointing out that once fitted, the frame profile is barely visible, only showing about 1mm around the wall perimeter. The fabric is tensioned taught across the frame like a drum-skin using specialist equipment and our team of professional installers.
We use dye-sublimation to print our fabric graphics, unless you require a UV print. Dye sublimation is a printing process that creates incredibly vibrant results with impressive high definition. The ink is heated and becomes ‘as one’ with the fabric. The weave can still be seen up close and still feel soft to the touch. We have a variety of different fabrics that we print to depending on the project. Blockout fabric has a black-back to prevent show-through and light passing through. Backlit is designed for our Fabric Lightbox products. In most cases we use a specialist polyester, designed specifically for dye-sublimation printers and we refer to this as Frontlit. All of these fabrics deliver exceptional print quality and stunning results.
Our fabric wall graphics are lightweight, transport easily and can be popped in the post for national roll-outs that prove popular with our Retail clients. The dye-sublimated polyester fabrics we produce can be recycled to create a closed loop system. But more impressive that this is our Eco Fabric that is made from 100% recycled plastic bottles and PET products. Saving thousands of bottles from landfill with each roll of fabric. This sustainable solution has a minimal price difference to the regular polyester fabrics we stock, so we hope you’ll make the switch to make your next project kinder to the planet.
We have a wide range of Fabric graphics solutions besides our wall covering offer. As part of our Fabri® graphics range, the innovative FabriFrame delivers picture-frame style fabric graphics in an aluminium profile. Easy to install, update and change yourself, they’re incredibly popular with retail stores and country-wide office locations because they’re perfect for national rollouts. Fabric graphics can also be combined with an acoustic product to create custom printed panels that reduce echo and improve sound quality in spaces as part of our Suono Range.
Our fabric graphics are popular across many industry sectors. We are known across the UK to produce high quality, large format fabric prints with vibrant results. In particular we work with exhibition builders and event companies who require dye-sublimation fabric graphics on the roll ready to be mounted to a pre-built structure or theatre set. We offer a bespoke fabric printing service to print onto any polyester fabric you require. This is particularly useful if you need to print to substrates that are not treated for digital printing or unsuitable for printing to direct such as wide meshes, fine voile or fabrics with an elastic quality. Client-supplied materials must be on a core with some surplus for testing. Talk to us about your bespoke requirements.

Fabric Graphics, Vinyl, G-FloorIngmans was perfect for our innovative FabriGrab solution. The two story building was home to a slim staircase with 26 steps. The walls were old with exposed wiring so we fixed a thin profile around the edge of the walls and fitted a smooth drum-skin-like tensioned fabric to create a wonderfully smooth finish and some well-needed acoustic softening. The landing area also received a stunning suite of FabriGrab shop graphics that created an impressive greeting on the first floor. The building is also home to a leather craftsman and traditional cobbler business which we kitted out with hard-wearing branded flooring and wall-mounted acrylic logos. The graphic at the top if the flight of stairs hides the old walls, whilst leaving it largely untouched. The slim profile that is fixed to just the perimeter of the wall, which means the shop graphics can be updated in the future, reusing the profile, but replacing the fabric. Dye-sublimated fabric graphics are a great way to cover walls that have a poor quality surface. FabriGrab creates a smooth seamless finish that can be fitted around sockets, switches, windows and doors.
