Foamex printing is an affordable solution for indoor signage, exhibition stands and wall cladding. Its versatile composition allows it to be custom-cut to create letter and logo shapes that give depth and detail. Foamex is available in several depths ranging from 1mm up to 10mm and comes in both black and white as standard. However other colours are available on special order.
COMPOSITION:
Foamex is made of expanded PVC foam, which is then compressed to create a rigid material with a smooth surface, suitable for foamex printing.
ECO CREDENTIALS:
Since Foamex is a PVC, it is not high on the environmentally-friendly list of products because it is difficult to recycle. However it is important to consider how long you need the product to perform before choosing an alternative. In some cases, foamex will be the perfect solution for a long term indoor display, where eco-alternatives may not stand up to the test. INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?:
Foamex printed panels are lightweight and waterproof and can be used both indoor and outdoors. Foamex can be unstable under extreme temperature fluctuations and may not be suitable for some outdoor signage, particularly for a long period of time. Foamex printing is ideal for cost-effective indoor signage and wall cladding to transform your space.
PRINTING:
We print direct to foamex sheets using our state-of-the-art UV machine. The specialist process cures the ink to a durable, satin finish with vibrant results.
CUTTING:
Foamex can not only be printed, but also grooved, etched, routered and cut to a wide range of creative finishes. Available in thicknesses of up to 10mm gives it the strength to create wonderful effects. Foamex can be cut and slotted together to make a variety of shapes and structures.
