PRISMAFLOOR ORIGINAL

THE ‘GO-TO’ FLOOR GRAPHIC PRODUCT

Our standard go-to product that caters for most short-term requirements on smooth floors. We offer this product with both removable or permanent adhesives, depending on your floor type.

 

Floor graphic products like this are superb for a wide range of applications. They can be cut-to-shape to create interactive graphic pathways for children using paw-prints or foot prints to promote short-term events. PrismaFLOOR Original is most commonly used for retail promotions. They can be shaped to fit around POS display stands and cashier desks or a stand alone graphic at the entrance to a store. In some instances we have used this product to cover an entire floor with strips of graphic flooring to create a real wow-factor and transform your space.

 

We laminate PrismaFLOOR Original using a semi-matt 100-micron anti-slip product specifically designed for indoor areas which protects printed floor graphics from UV and both mechanical and pedestrian abrasion.

  • Bleed – Please supply artwork with 10mm bleed
  • Colour – Please supply your artwork in CMYK and make sure that any critical colours are set up as Pantone spot colours. Provide a CMYK equivalent for any other special colours.
  • File Type – We prefer print-ready PDFs but we also accept artwork files supplied as Adobe Photoshop PSD, Illustrator AI/EPS and Indesign INDD if they’re supplied with fonts and links.
  • Fonts – Please ‘path’ your fonts. A PDF compression won’t embed them, so we kindly ask that you create outlines (path) your fonts or send the font files with the artwork.
  • Links – If you are supplying artwork in a format other than a PDF, please include all linked images and font files.
  • Pixels Per Inch – DPI determines the resolution (detail) of the artwork. Images with a low DPI can look blurry or pixelated when they’re printed. We prefer to work with a minimum of 300dpi.
  • Trim – There’s no need to add trim marks because our software can detect the art-board without them. If your artwork has a cutter, label the cutter using a spot colour called ‘CutContour’.

We designed and printed this fun and interactive floor for a children’s hospital in South London. It was a cost-effective way to engage with their younger visitors and to offer a distraction for a typically worrying occasion. When designing for children we are always conscious of designing without too much text and to consider the language barriers that may be encountered in culturally diverse areas.

This boutique retail store needed to transform a downstairs room for a new product launch, but they were unhappy with their existing floor tiles for the event.
