AlumiGraphics is a SGIA award-winning foil based media, perfect for wall graphics and uneven surfaces. It’s malleable quality makes it a great solution for brickwork work and paving slabs because it conforms to the surface. It behaves like a thick, sticky tinfoil, bending around bumps and grooves. We have found that this material can deliver amazing results that appear like grafitti art, that has been painted directly to the wall.
One of its key benefits is the ability to apply AlumiGraphics using a roller (rather than a heat gun) onto heavily textured or rough surfaces, such as brick or concrete, opening up a whole range of surfaces that conventional print materials, such as vinyl, can’t be applied to. All you need is a dry, clean surface. Because there is no need for heating equipment like with traditional conformable vinyls, small Alumigraphics don’t need a professional installtion – unless of course, you’d like us to. It is also extremely easy to remove and leaves no residue.
This foil based substrate boasts an impressive range of green credentials. It is PVC-Free making it a far more ethical alternative to standard vinyl graphics. Plus, once used, Alumigraphics can be easily recycled along with other regular aluminium products. Alumigraphics are not designed to be a permanent display product, but it has certainly outlasted its expected shelf-life on more than a few occasions. Wall areas that receive a fair amount of bumps and scrapes from heavy pedestrian traffic, might expect to last 6-12 months, but indoor walls in quieter areas can last for two years and beyond.

AlumiGraphicsAlumigraphics is great for moulding around brickwork to give an authentic wall mural effect. We used Alumigraphic Smooth for our project at Burleigh Potteries Visitor Centre. We printed the traditional ceramic pattern to Alumigraphic which made the walls look like they had been hand-painted with the design synonymous with Burleigh. Our installation team didn’t need any heating equipment to apply the material and they said it was a dream to work with. It gives a lovely finish that can last up to year, or even longer in good conditions such as this indoor space.
