Ecophon Hygiene™ covers a comprehensive range of products, suitable for environments with different hygiene needs. To make it even easier to find the right acoustic solution for your healthcare facility, we have divided the Hygiene family into five different main groups:
Ecophon Hygiene Clinic™ are standard class A sound-absorbing ceilings for dry areas.
Ecophon Hygiene Meditec™ are class A sound-absorbing ceilings for dry areas where disinfection and/or cleaning is required on a regular basis.
Ecophon Hygiene Protec™ are particle repellent sound-absorbing ceilings for clean rooms where disinfection and/or cleaning is required on a regular basis.
Ecophon Hygiene Performance™ are easy-to-clean sound-absorbing ceilings, wall panels and baffles for humid areas. They withstand advanced cleanability, such as steam and high/low pressure washing, on a regular basis.
Ecophon Hygiene Advance™ are sound-absorbing ceilings, wall panels and baffles for the most demanding conditions, including airborne grease and dirt particles. They sustain daily advanced cleanability and disinfection with strong chemicals.

Ecophon Hygiene Clinic™
Ecophon Hygiene Clinic™ A are standard class A sound-absorbing ceilings for dry areas. The absorbers are low-emitting and thus ensures high indoor-air quality, they are resistant to mould and bacteria growth and they withstand HPV cleaning. The system is designed to fit with Ecophon Connect™ grid manufactured from galvanised steel. The tiles are manufactured from high density glass wool with primed edges

Ecophon Hygiene Meditec™
Ecophon Hygiene Meditec™ A is a class A sound-absorbing ceiling tile system for dry areas where disinfection and/or cleaning is required on a regular basis. The surface is resistant to common detergents and disinfectants. The edges are primed and NOT visible when fitted. The grid is manufactured from galvanized steel. The tiles should be secured to the grid with Connect Universal clips in order to withstand pressure during cleaning and to minimise dirt traps.

Ecophon Hygiene Meditec™ E is a class A sound-absorbing ceiling tile system for dry areas where disinfection and/or cleaning is required on a regular basis. The surface is resistant to common detergents and disinfectants. The edges are painted and partially visible when fitted. The tiles should be secured to the grid with Connect Universal clips in order to withstand pressure during cleaning and to minimise dirt traps.

Ecophon Hygiene Protec™
Ecophon Hygiene Protec™ A is particle repellent sound-absorbing ceiling tile system for clean rooms where disinfection and/or cleaning is required on a regular basis. The ceilings are classified ISO 3 according to ISO 14644-1. The tiles should be secured to the grid with Connect Hygiene clips in order to withstand pressure during cleaning and to minimise dirt traps.

Ecophon Hygiene Protec™ D is particle repellent sound-absorbing ceiling tile system for clean rooms where disinfection and/or cleaning is required on a regular basis. The ceilings are classified ISO 3 according to ISO 14644-1. The Ds system has only vertical joints which minimise dirt traps. The tiles should be secured to the grid with Connect Hygiene clips in order to withstand pressure during cleaning.

Ecophon Hygiene Protec™ Air A is particle repellent sound-absorbing ceiling tile system for clean rooms where disinfection and/or cleaning is required on a regular basis. The ceilings are classified ISO 3 according to ISO 14644-1. Protec Air A ceilings are suitable for areas requiring air-pressure control. The tiles should be secured to the grid with Connect Hygiene clips in order to withstand pressure during cleaning and to minimise dirt traps.
