We were delighted to have the opportunity to work for the world renowned high-end shoe brand Manolo Blahnik on the launch of their new Autumn and Winter collection. Working closely with set designer Amanda Stekly and designer Tom Cliff, we helped transform Manolo Blahnik’s London office for the launch. As is often the case in the high fashion world, the brief was unusual. The choice of materials and production techniques were meticulously tested and chosen to meet the exacting requirements of the fashion house. The highest quality dye sublimation canvas fabrics were used as custom printed flooring and a stair covering. This material is usually used as a high end wall covering or display fabric so being used as a printed flooring was exciting. The installers did a fantastic job and the overall effect was stunning.
Also as part of the project we produced some large (3m tall) high-quality matte laminated display panels with the images wrap mounted round a timber and MDF structure. The new collection of shoes were then fixed onto these display panels, and with the artwork on the panels matching the shoe designs it created a stunning effect. Much time and care was taken during the production of all elements to ensure the highest levels of quality were achieved throughout.
