One of our long-standing clients, PMW Property recently moved premises into a beautiful new build office space. They naturally asked us to make their new home into a place that reflected their premium service and distinguished property portfolio. Our design team were delighted with such a blank canvas and created a stunning selection of modern office acoustics, artificial foliage and stretched canvas prints.

THE LOBBY

This is a magnificent space, reaching over six metres in height from ground level, all the way up to the ceiling. Huge windows occupy the majority of the front elevation, and a large staircase covers the backwall. Despite the huge volume of room, wall space was limited. Our design team chose the largest and tallest walls in the centre of the room to make their mark. Using a walnut effect wood cladding, a modern office acoustics solution paired with a glossy white acrylic logo, the stair facing wall became an impressive feature.

The corner of the large lobby would become a comfortable breakout-space with seating for informal meetings and a waiting area. In the area we added four large canvases with custom design wall art. We took inspiration from the local area and PMW’s renowned success within commercial property sector. Using images of historical commercial properties in Derbyshire, such as banks, shops and mills our studio designed a collection of bespoke art. These were printed to canvas and stretched onto a timber frame using our professional framing service.

BOARDROOM

The first room from the lobby was a large boardroom with glazing on two walls. The television wall became or main focus. Again we introduced a walnut effect wall cladding. The walnut finish was matched to the doors and woodwork within the building. To add a softer line and an organic element we added artificial foliage sheets which connect together to create a seamless finish and frame the modern office acoustics. To ensure the white painted walls behind the foliage could not be seen, we installed a green vinyl to the walls first to create depth and hide any fixings.

UPPER OFFICE CORRIDOR

The theme continued on the first floor with walnut acoustic cladding and artificial foliage which features a brand statement in white gloss acrylic. The cut to shape text was mounted to the wall with extra long locators to allow the foliage to fall naturally around each letter.

INSTALLATION

This project took our installation team just two days. Including the access equipment for the large lobby walls.
