Chesterfield’s historic market town is filled with beautiful old buildings, which often bring along some challenges. Tall ceilings, narrow corridors and poor wall surfaces are typically tricky spaces for late eighteenth century structures.

Ingmans was no different and was perfect for our innovative FabriGrab solution. The two story building was home to a slim staircase with 26 steps. The walls were old with exposed wiring so we fixed a thin profile around the edge of the walls and fitted a smooth drum-skin-like tensioned fabric to create a wonderfully smooth finish and some
well-needed acoustic softening.

The landing area also received a stunning suite of FabriGrab graphics that created an impressive greeting on the first floor.

The building is also home to a leather craftsman and traditional cobbler business which we kitted out with hard-wearing branded flooring and wall-mounted acrylic logos.

Their product knowledge is fantastic and the solutions they recommended saved a lot of remedial work.

Our professional installation team fitted this vinyl ceiling graphic depicting the ‘Creation of Adam’ in three pieces, each with a small overlap that cannot be seen from the room below. It was then distressed with sandpaper and paint to age the newly fitted graphic.

The imposing graphic meets customers at the top if the flight of stairs. It cleverly hides the old walls, whilst leaving it largely untouched. The slim profile that is fixed to just the perimeter of the wall, which means the graphics can be updated in the future, reusing the profile, but replacing the fabric.

Dye-sublimated fabric graphics are a great way to cover walls that have a poor quality surface. FabriGrab creates a smooth seamless finish that can be fitted around sockets, switches, windows and doors.

This deceptive G-floor graphic might make you want to step over Ingmans stair platform. We designed this photo-realistic image of floorboards with ornate hinges to add a humorous curio in this old building.
We are extremely proud that the work we printed and installed contributed towards Ingmans being finalists for the Chesterfield Fashion and Footwear Retailer of the Year 2018.

The G-floor has proved to be really hard-wearing and we’ve had lots of positive feedback from the staff and customers.
