PRINT PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN

 Job Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual, to join our busy production team, operating high quality print and finishing machinery in a safe and efficient way to ensure that work delivered is correct and of high quality.
This is a fabulous opportunity for someone to join our growing business as part of the creative print industry.
You will need to have a great attitude to work, a real attention to detail, be able to work within a team, and be flexible so as to fit with the nature of the business demands.

Experience:

Ideally, we would like someone with two years experience of using any of the below:
However, if you have experience in any other print workplace, then this will be considered.

  • Large format print equipment
  • Graphic board and/or vinyl cutting machines
  • Laminating roller machines
  • CNC routers
Key skills required:
  • You will require basic numeracy, literacy, communication and IT skills
  • You will be able to demonstrate that you are a quick learner
  • You will have a highly flexible approach to working with others.
Key responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading of print and cutting machines
  • Operating printing and finishing equipment
  • Taking delivery of goods and raw materials, and storing appropriately
  • Checking proofs against print files
  • Packing goods ready for despatch
  • Performing scheduled cleaning and machinery maintenance.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary:
£20,000 to £23,000 p/a depending on experience, with overtime payable at time and a half.
Hours of work currently 8:30am to 5pm, however, flexibility is needed to suit the needs of the business.

SALES ADMINISTRATOR

 Job Description:

We’re looking for a confident, fun and enthusiastic person to join our dynamic team. If that’s not you then stop reading!

We push the boundaries of what a creative sign, print & display business can be. We provide a comprehensive, innovative range of range of sign and display solutions across a wide range of markets, from schools to shopping centres, Football clubs to Theme Parks as well as leading global business.

 

What we’ll expect you to do:
  • Undertake a range administrative duties required for day to day running of accounts.
  • Provide quotations accurately and within a short time frame
  • Call existing, lapsed and prospective customers to follow up quotes and generate business
  • Organise same-day and next day couriers for deliveries
  • Service and grow existing client accounts, building strong relationships
  • Work alongside our Account Managers to manage day to day and larger scale projects
  • Help drive projects to completion with a commercial focus
  • Feed into the Account Manager/Directors with updates on client accounts

 

We’re looking for someone who:
  • Is not afraid to pick up the phone
  • Has a positive can-do attitude
  •  Is passionate about what they do in the workplace and demonstrates enthusiasm when given tasks
  • Is naturally very well organised with good attention to detail
  • Is eager to learn
  • Who enjoys being part of a small team
  • Can take a client brief and help provide effective solutions to their needs
  • Can work on multiple projects at the same time
  • Is able to think on their feet and remain calm under pressure

 

Job Type: Full-time and permanent.
Salary: £20,000 to £22,000 p/a
Experience: Experience is not essential but enthusiasm and a positive attitude is!
