Acoustic treatments are becoming increasingly popular within our industry. They’re a great way to to add visual interest and reduce the sound bounce in modern workspaces. The office echo is not a new phenomenon. It’s a natural result of too many hard surfaces; desks; screen; whiteboards; windows; glazed partitions; doors and cupboards. The most popular acoustic options are ceiling baffles and fins or wall panels. These echo-combatting solutions are fantastic and we sell a wide range of them. But we like to make things unique – to each client and their brand, and acoustic wall art is a great product for this.
This office interiors project for Portion Solutions saw a wide range of wall and window graphics across their site. Our client had already integrated some acoustic solutions into the furniture and walls with slat systems and sound-absorbing meeting pods. We wanted to create an acoustic wall art feature in the first floor lobby area using the same acoustic materials from the meeting pod. We designed an abstract pattern from their logo using shapes, patterns and curves. We incorprated portions of the letters and included elements of their parent company’s logo too. Once the design was approved, we built a framework for the acoustic to create depth. The single red colour was striking and created a lovely set of shadows from the large adjacent windows. In total the depth of the artwork was over 100mm and finished with a colour matched frame.
It can appear to be a very tricky 4D jigsaw puzzle! But our fantastic team finished it beautifully.

We have also created full wall acoustic art, using clever layering and padding to create depth and stunning shadows. A large office project for Symrise saw us create a large Union Flag motif from several layers of acoustic panelling. This intricate design was built around doors, sockets and switches, all carefully cut and fitted in their modern office suite and boardroom. We carefully considered the layout to hide joins and minimise wastage. Our in-house installation team did a superb job, meticulously building this complex jigsaw puzzle on this large office wall.
We have also completed an impressive scalloped acoustic wall art for a well-known British retailer and a beautiful brass-inlayed wall design for a prestigious London firm. We pride ourselves on creating bespoke wall designs and acoustic art to deliver a real wow-factor for our clients.
