We are proud to have completed a large vinyl graphics project for The Mall that has made the headlines in “Luton Today” as local shoppers celebrate the return of the famous flamingos. The four metre high large cut vinyl flamboyance of flamingos paid homage to an iconic water fountain that once sat within the former Arndale Centre.
The flamingos have been part of a much, much larger project that has spanned the entire shopping centre, stairwells and car parks. We worked closely with their agency to explore a range of suitable substrates and printing methods to achieve the desired results. Colour swatches for glazing, sheet material and specialist vinyls played an important roll in the development of this project. Our MX studio team supported the design agency to prepare the artwork for print and create complex installation guides to ensure a smooth and snag-free install.
The full project included large printed window manifestations, light boxes, contra-vision, printed panels and large vinyl graphics. This retail graphic project was fully project managed and installed over a four week period. Our in-house team of professional fitting operatives worked through each night to avoid disruption to staff and shoppers, delivering these fantastic results for The Mall Luton.
