The latest product to join our PrismaFloor range is PrismaFLOOR Solo. A PVC-Free polyester vinyl printed in one-part, without the need for a protective laminate. The textured polyester surface boasts at R10 slip rating and we print directly to the substrate with either Latex or UV inks. This floor graphics vinyl is tear-resistant and will withstand everything from pallet trucks to stiletto heels, with its specifically developed adhesive, it is easy to apply and to reposition without distortion. With a roll width of 1524mm, large floor surfaces can be covered with fewer joins. PrismaFloor Solo has zero shrinkage like some vinyls, which means that joins can be butt joined or overlapped depending on the design. The stable nature of the substrate also avoids developing a rim of dirty adhesive around the print as can sometimes happen with shrinking vinyl.
PrismaFloor Solo is perfect for short term indoor events. It’s versatile adhesive makes it suitable for both smooth hard surfaces and low-pile carpet. It’s a perfect solution for supermarkets, shopping centres, airports and schools. Floor graphic vinyl can be used for product launches, marketing campaigns, wayfinding markers and branding too. But there are lots of other creative opportunities to use PrismaFloor Solo. Motivational statements, brand messaging, educational information and interactive floor puzzles. The excellent structure of the material offers great colour production and delivers stunning vibrant graphics.
PrismaFLOOR Solo’s textured surface feels rough like a fine sandpaper. It offers an R10 slip rating for floor graphics while a R9 is the minimum requirement for floor graphic vinyl.
This product is new to the market, so the official results are not currently available. We have been testing on a variety of surfaces including carpeted corridors with heavy footfall and a high-traffic hard surfaced with production machinery. Based on the performance to date we are suggesting a 3 month durability as guidance, but this could be extended.

Bleed - Please supply artwork with 10mm bleed
Colour - Please supply your artwork in CMYK and make sure that any critical colours are set up as Pantone spot colours. Provide a CMYK equivalent for any other special colours.
File Type - We prefer print-ready PDFs but we also accept artwork files supplied as Adobe Photoshop PSD, Illustrator AI/EPS and Indesign INDD if they’re supplied with fonts and links.
Fonts - Please ‘path’ your fonts. A PDF compression won’t embed them, so we kindly ask that you create outlines (path) your fonts or send the font files with the artwork.
Links - If you are supplying artwork in a format other than a PDF, please include all linked images and font files.
Pixels Per Inch - DPI determines the resolution (detail) of the artwork. Images with a low DPI can look blurry or pixelated when they’re printed. We prefer to work with a minimum of 300dpi.
Trim - There’s no need to add trim marks because our software can detect the art-board without them. If your artwork has a cutter, label the cutter using a spot colour called ‘CutContour’.

PrismaFloor Solo is a tear-resistant, PVC-free floor graphic. It has an impressive R10 slip rating suitable for both smooth hard floors and low-pile carpet. It offers a cost-effective solution for short-term events because it doesn’t require an over-laminate to protect the ink. PrismaFloor Solo floor graphic vinyl is perfect for indoor exhibitions and trade shows, marketing campaigns and other events. It boasts an impressive R10 rating and roll with of 1524mm, making it one of the widest and grippiest floor products on the market.
All floor graphics must have a slip rating minimum at R9 to adhere to health and safety standards in the UK. The slip rating for floor graphics can reach a maximum value of R13. The rating information is accredited through a specialist test centre who evaluate the coefficient of friction in both wet and dry conditions. All our floor graphics range fromR9 to R13 except for our carpet products which are exempt from this regulation. Floor graphics that are applied to gradients, slopes and ramps should consider a greater slip rating. Our PrismaFloor Solo floor graphic vinyl has an impressive R10 slip rating.
