MX TEAM UP WITH PLB

We were very pleased to work alongside PLB Group; a very successful design agency, with offices in York and Manchester. We assisted in the design, print and install of the REME Museum’s exterior signage. The Museum itself is based in Chippenham, directly next to the M.O.D Lyneham.

EXTERIOR SIGNAGE

PLB contracted MX Display to complete the signage on the exterior faces of the building, to present a modern touch. Keeping the existing branding at the heart of the project, a traditional feel of an Army-based Museum. As you can see in the images, PLB created some incredible artwork for the PVC Banners, and the Museum themselves are so happy with the final product.

Our install team worked over two days to complete the project; the larger facade above the main entrance of the Museum was printed to PVC mesh, to allow natural light to enter the building through the 3 impeding window areas in the face of the building. The ‘L-Shape’ print was printed on PVC banner material. Both PVC’s were fitted into our tension frames on site.

The overall size of the mesh PVC was just over an incredible 10m in width and 5m in height. This was installed by two of our operatives using a scissor lift.

Overall, it was a very successful project meeting all the set criteria. Additionally, we look forward to working with PLB in the future!
