We’re really excited to welcome this cutting-edge piece of kit to our Graphics and Signage cohort. Installed in July 2020 our new AXYZ Trident has joined our arsenal of machines for CNC cutting in Derby. This versatile router-knife hybrid compliments our two existing Zund cutting machines and Summa plotter allowing us to offer maximum flexibility with impressive lead times. Despite the fact that Covid-19 may have changed a lot for us all – and MX Display is no different – one thing that hasn’t changed is our continued investment in the latest technology and machinery.

The AXYZ Trident is specifically designed for digital print finishing such as signs and graphics because of its three cutting technologies; routing, tangential cutting and oscillating cutting – or even a combination – which offers us an incredible array of possibilities and finishes. We’ve already been putting it to the test and our Production Technicians have been busy training and pushing the boundaries to ensure we offer the best CNC cutting in Derby

Features such as Trident’s floating access will allow us to create 3D textures in materials such as MDF, foamex and acrylic creating new and unique design opportunities. These effects have become extremely popular amongst the office and retail graphics market, adding depth and detail to ordinarily flat surfaces.
